Thank You, SULYAPINOY...

Wed Nov 05, 2008 9:29 am by misterdj

Thank You, SULYAPINOY

Special thanks to all our awardees, guests and participants which made the event truly worth-remembering. It was so glittering when all kind-hearted volunteers band together on that day amid prior commitments and duties.

Our FEWA volunteers who surprised the audience with the coolest maneuver…coolest...so hot! Savored with love and dedication, our taste buds were much satisfied by Theo, Rodel, Rodney, Marzy, Ronald, Ronnie, Marvin, Tuman, Ismael, Rudy, Michael and friends. I love spaghetti but there’s none…huh…anyway, I can say three servings were good enough for a hungry me. A Five-star rating for the love ingredients, it’s truly good food for good people.

The fashionistas were there!!! Anne Curtis and Marianne Rivera were no match with our gorgeous and lovely usherettes as they keep on serving, smiling and serving and smiling and…the event’s prettiest were Precy, Lourdes, Victoria, Amie and who else but you! The glamorous did shine and the simple radiates with the perfect salon look huh…they were not prepared but wearing Prada, GAP, Bean Pole, Em Polham and Aling Chols’ which considerably gave bold statements…wow! Aling Chols, only from the Philippines.

On center stage, our diva Joy Lor from Kasan migrant workers community with music prodigy Orly Tungala plus the KMWC interpretative dance with live rendition of Bulag, Pipi at Bingi, guys a superb number from this singing champ producing community. Also, the famous Ansan Filipino Community as they showcased our folkdance and dominated the event with their breathtaking Tinikling and illustrado like Aray! Proudly Filipino as they shared one culture, one passion and promoting one nation.

With the launching of SULYAP’ jingle, everyone couldn’t resist but dance with the melodious voice of Annabelle Lopez aka Good Heart as she belted out in grooves with the reigning Bb. Kalinangang Pilipino May Heducos and former SULYAP’ webadmin Christian “DJ Zack” Robles. ”Huwag ka nang malungkot…sulyap, sulyap, Sulyapinoy!" A monumental jingle shared by our extra-talented friends. We had fun guys and can’t wait for the CD!

We must say that we’re gifted with brilliant writers and committed volunteers, Reeve, Dondave, Edward, Regina, Amie, Alden, Felix, Richard, Sofonias, Teofilo, Marzy and Elizer who are tirelessly sharing their time, efforts, talents and resources to function as one and to write with clear mind and to edit with pure heart for the needed information of the community and to the poem writing contest winners Michael Balba, Joel Tavarro, Joan Romero, Rebeck Beltran, Edgar Balista and the participants, you’ve made history in the world of community press in South Korea.

Most importantly, to God for we owe our existence to Him and blessed us with our hero priest Fr. Glenn Giovanni Jaron, MSP and spiritual adviser Fr. Alvin Parantar, MSP and for not one of the past 12 issues was without a crisis. But with His blessings, we have overcome it all and have become more passionate and enthusiastic with our tremendous potentials.

Again, maraming salamat po and please be with us as we look forward to much brighter, much bigger, extra exciting and more raffle tickets for a cause in SULYAP’ next anniversary special… you’ll be invited and it's a promise!

Sincerely,

SULYAPINOY Family
