Ano nga ba ang dapat kong gawin
Upang magawa ko ang ika'y limutin
Ba't hanggang ngayon laging ikaw pa rin
Ang itinitibok ng puso't damdamin

Ba't hanggang ngayon ikaw pa rin sinta
Hinahanap-hanap puso sa tuwina
Hindi nga ba dapat nalimot na kita
Nagawang iwaglit sa'king ala-ala

Pag-ibig ko sa'yo pano ba papanaw
Pano maglalaho ng lubos-lubusan
Kung hanggang ngayon ikaw pa rin hirang
Sa bawat sandali pinakamamahal

Kahit itong puso nagmahal ng iba
Hanggang ngayon giliw nais kang makita
Tunay nga bang baliw ang puso ko sinta
Pagkat di magawa ang limutin kita...

Bakit ba ang pag-ibig hindi mapigilan
naliligalig yaong puso't isipan
hindi maipaliwanag itong nararamdaman
wari mo ay lason na kumakalat sa katawan.

Kung iyong namang pipigilan
ikaw din naman ang magdurusa't mahihirapan
bugso ng damdamin ay iyong alalayan
baka ikaw ay mabigo sa huli'y maging luhaan.
