I. Purpose
1. To provide top-level students from the Philippines with opportunities for higher-education in Korea

2. To enhance the globalization of the CUK campus by creating a more diverse atmosphere

3. To promote international in education and mutual friendship between Korea and
the Philippines

III. Recruitment Plan
1. Entrance period: Spring semester, 2010 (starting from March 2010)

2. Programs: graduate program
 Fields of Study
 Business Administration (Business Administration, Accounting)
 Public Administration (Public Administration, Policy Studies)
 International Studies (International Relations, American Studies, Chinese Studies)
 Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry)
 Clothing & Textiles
 Environmental Engineering
 Digital Media (Media Engineering, Culture Contents)
 Information, Communications and Electronic Engineering

3. Language of Instruction: English
 A minimum number of courses about Korean language will be offered.

4. Eligibility
 Nationals of the Philippines
 Graduates or graduates-to-be of college (undergraduate program)
(※ as for the graduate-to-be, the students must be able to study from March, 2010)
5. Screening
 The screening will be conducted on the basis of overall evaluation
according to paper screening and interview results.
(※ After screening the required documents, CUK will notify the students
on individual basis whether they will be invited to take interview test.)


IV. Privileges

1. Exempt from tuition and on-campus residence fee during the whole study
 Graduate program: 2 years
(※ On condition that the applicant shall meet GPA of over 3.5 in a scale of 4.5.)
2. Monthly payment is available for the students who work part-time jobs on campus
(such as English Assistantship).
3. Round-trip airfare provided


V. Application

 Submission of Documents Deadline: October 29, 2009

(※ Applicants must submit the documents via e-mail until deadline.
And the interview-invited students should submit the original documents
on the interview date.)


VI. Required Documents

1. Application for Admission (CUK Form)
2. Study Plan and Personal Statement (Free Form)
3. A copy of Certificate of college graduation (or certified expected graduation form)
4. A copy of college official transcript of whole year
(all the ranks and marks must be included on the transcript).
5. A recommendation letter by teacher or professor serving as relevant department head
6. Proof of Philippine Nationality (i.e., A copy of the first page of passport)

Master degree ito ha at Phd study.

Sa ngayon ay may 4 Filipino na nandyan sa schoolarship program na yan. 2 in Master Degree & 2 in PhD Degree.

Kung may kakilala kayo or kamag anak na may magandang academic records related to the above field of study ay magandang opportunity rin ito. Makakapag master sila ng libre or hanggang PhD degree pa. Sabi ng friend ko na Pinoy na nasa PhD degree now here in Korea with that program ay libre na pag aaral ay may allowance ka pa. Pwede pa sila mag part time sa loob ng university so additional income again.

Actually hindi naman me involved dyan sa program na yan, nabasa ko lang sa Facebook ng isa kong kaibigan na PhD degree dito sa Jinju Korea. Naisip ko na magandang opportunity ito sa mga taga subaybay ng sulyap para sa kanilang kakilala rin na papasa sa requirements...
